Changing your role

Your buyer or seller role in a chat is yours: you can change it whenever you want, without asking the chat's owner or anyone else.

How to change it#

1. Open the chat and tap the “...” menu in the header.
2. Choose “Edit my role”.
3. The picker shows buyer and seller, with your current role already selected.
4. Save to confirm the change, or cancel to leave it as it was.

You can only change your own role — every other member changes theirs. And the role is mandatory: you're always either the buyer or the seller, never neither.

What changes when you switch roles#

• The label on the order-lines tab: “To buy” if you're the buyer, “To sell” if you're the seller.
• The role filter tabs on the chats, today and analysis screens, which use your role in each chat.

The other members will see your new role the next time they open or refresh the chat.
