Buyer and seller roles

In every chat you are either the buyer or the seller. Your role shapes how Ramon shows you the negotiation: the label on the order-lines tab and how your lists are filtered.

How roles are assigned#

• When you create a chat you choose your role: buyer or seller. The role is mandatory — it can't be left unset.
• Whoever joins through an invitation gets the complementary role by default: if you're the seller, they come in as the buyer.

What your role changes#

• The order-lines tab is called “To buy” if you're the buyer and “To sell” if you're the seller — the data is the same, only the label flips.
• Next to each chat in the list you'll see your role in that chat.
• The “To buy” / “To sell” filter tabs on the chats, today and analysis screens use your role in each chat.

Changing your role#

Open the chat, tap the “...” menu and choose “Edit my role”. You can change your own role at any time, without depending on the chat's owner.
